Waterfront property specialists recommend prior to the buying of a waterfront property people should:

  • Do their homework
  • Get all details in order
  • Contact us for help

These are because of the desirable nature of waterfront properties. Especially on and surrounding areas. There are 52 miles of shore line on the lake. 13 miles in length from end-to-end. It is a man-made body of water and considered a prime vacation spot. A popular destination for weekend travelers, the lake allows a variety of boating and plenty of water activities. Boaters should follow the lake’s rules to make sure their time on the water is fun and as safe as possible.

Lake Wallenpaupack was created in 1927 by the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company for hydroelectric power. Prior to that, a stream flowed through 12,150 acres of land owned by James Wilson, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution and a U.S. Supreme Court justice.
